The EXPOBOR and PNEUSHOW trade fairs kicked off on Wednesday, the 26th, with an opening ceremony in the Knowledge Arena at Expo Center Norte, with the distinguished presence of Senator Margareth Buzetii, President of ABR; Abdala Jamil Abdala, Chairman of Francal; Marcelo Zaidan, President of Sindibor; and Giulio Cesar Claro, President of ARESP. During the ceremony, Senator Margareth Buzetti stressed that “the rubber industry is crucial to the Brazilian economy, with 70% of wealth transported by road, where trucks depend on tires, linking our sectors and ensuring that goods reach stores, and raw materials to industries. That’s why it’s essential that public policies don’t hinder the sector.”
“Pneushow is a unique opportunity to get to know the best in the market in terms of technology, to exchange information and knowledge that makes our sector stronger,” added the senator. The Official Opening Ceremony was also marked by speeches showing how much the public and private sectors believe in changes and progress in this segment. “I’m sure that Francal, together with its partner organizations, has contributed to the development of the sector. With 55 years of history, Francal has helped the sector in Brazil to develop and grow in the economy. Reaching the 15th edition is not an easy task, and today, we can celebrate by doing good business,” said Abdala Jamil Abdala, Chairman of Francal.
